Yamaha IM8 40-Channel Sound Reinforcement Console is a professional audio mixer designed for demanding live sound applications. The mixer features 40 mono input channels and 4 dedicated stereo input channels, each with a powerful 4-band EQ section and enough flexible routing to handle the most complex audio mixing scenarios. Every channel features a one-knob compressor for easy control over the dynamics of vocals and instruments, and until now, a feature only found on much more costly consoles. The output section features 8-bus routing to other mixers, monitors and recording devices and the matrix output provides alternate output wiring for just about any application. In addition to all these features, the IM8 series consoles feature a USB port for direct connection to PCs, and Cubase AI recording software is also included.
