Customer Review: I bought the Ion drum set with upgrade that came with one of these cymbals and use it as my hi-hat and it worked good. The only trouble I had was that the cymbal itself started to come loose from underneath the cymbal(the screws and plastic part that holds everything together) Also the pad on the cymbal wore down after many hours played! Customer Review: I bought this because it was cheaper than buying the 3rd cymbal that ION offered. When I received it, I liked it better. It had two felt rings for cushioning as well as a post to prevent it from moving left or right while I am playing. Plus the wingnut was much easier to put on than the wingnuts that came with my ION drums even though they are the same.
