Checks XLR mic cables, TRS instrument cables, Speaker cables, Speakon/ cables, MIDI cables, and now 1/8" TRS (3.5mm), too! Just plug each end of your cable into the appropriate connections and turn the knob to check each pin connection. Works off of a standard 9V battery not included.
